For some years now, the “electrolytic marking system” sector has been expanded with a new type of marking device. Namely those that have their origins in electrochemical weld polishing. Weld seam polishers have a similar functional principle as the “original” electrolytic marking devices, but usually use a carbon brush instead of a marking head with graphite anode when polishing weld seams. Today there are many systems that can polish weld seams as well as electrolytically mark them.
